I am originally from the Italian Dolomites and have been living in Sweden for almost 15 years, with intermezzos in Barcelona, Bamako and New York. Photography is ever-present in my life. Throughout the years, the inevitable creative crises forced me to self-reflect and seek inspiration outside of my comfort zone, while keeping two constants of my artistic vision: a preference for black and white, and a deliberate inclusion of people in my compositions to convey a sense of human connection. It’s not just about capturing a specific moment in time. To me, photography is about immersing myself into the very process of observation with a feeling of total focus - almost like a meditative task that draws me into a peaceful state.
