At the end of summer, I visit one of my favorite lakes and saw 2 guys with kayak settling into the neighboring bungalow. I bought them an Irish coffee (it was more “Irish” than “coffee”) and managed to convince them to drop the boat into the icy waters at 5:30 next morning. No sooner said than done.
