"My images are truly successful when you can feel the moment, not just see it!" Photographer, graphic designer, and educator Christopher Thompson, commonly known as "Click," channels his East Coast roots to capture a modern Western icon, The American Cowboy. From being an avid music photographer to creating images for the Department of Defense, Click found his true photographic passion at a local rodeo in Virginia. "I fell in love with the people, and for the first time I woke up and went to sleep thinking about new images to be made." Quickly embracing rodeo culture and the western lifestyle, Click would touch every corner of the US in search of his western vision. From the grand vistas of the American west to the boots and spurs of each cowboy he'd pass there were always new moments to see, feel, capture and share. His journeys over this last decade have taken him to many of the industry's most prestigious events including National Finals Rodeo, The Cody Stampede, Cheyenne Frontier Days, The Pendleton Roundup, The American Rodeo, Rodeo Houston, and Professional Bull Riders World Finals. However, it's the community and extended family he interacts with every day that he's most grateful for.
