Evening Colorway
I am always on the lookout for good spots from which to frame the Aurora Borealis. Although not apparent in this photo, I am on a hill with a panoramic view of the landscape before me. The lone streetlight the only presents a sense of scale that helps to establish the grandeur of this scene.
About Artist
Mishael Voisin
Mishael Voisin is a nature and wildlife photographer based in the Cayman Islands. An islander to the core, he has wandered both near and far from his native Trinidad and Tobago while in the process becoming deeply inspired by the poignant truths of God’s greatness that are revealed in the details of the natural world. His interest in photography as a medium of expression was kindled as an adolescent. Although initially self-taught, he credits diligent, focused study under the tutelage of leading names in bird and wildlife imaging with shaping his artistic vision. Mishael is primarily focused on bird photography, a niche he views as full of drama, mystery and filled with tenacious stories of sheer will and survival. He wields his lens as a tool, seeking to convey emotion through compelling images that expose viewers to the invisible attributes of the created world so that its Creator and His greatness can be more clearly seen.
