Castellers Climbing High

Casteller, or human tower, is a Spanish tradition mostly localized to Catalonia. This is usually done in the village centers, but this event was in a old bull-fighting arena. An unsuccessful tower will collapse onto the people below, but a successful tower will have children create the top.

About Artist

William Harnisch

My name is William, and my goal is to live a life that can be remembered as one hell of a ride! From a young age, photography has always been my passion, starting with photographing birds around my yard. After a good bit of terrestrial travel, well over ten thousand miles sailed at sea, mountains climbed, and living among a family in Spain, it has evolved into much more than backyard birdwatching. Mountaineering, sailing, scuba, and building relationships have all become passions of mine, with videography gaining a strong interest. Hopefully, these experiences are displayed in a way that you too can feel what I felt in those moments with the work submitted with Refocus. Thank you so much for joining me on this journey.
