I am a U.S.-based documentary photographer and writer whose work examines how identity, place and lived experience shape the stories we tell about one another. Working across the United States, Canada, and Uganda, I create portraits and observational images grounded in relationship, context and consent. My photographs often focus on people and communities whose lives are reduced to labels, seeking instead the gestures, environments and contradictions that reveal a fuller human story.
I am the author and photographer of Fields of Resilience, documenting agricultural communities and social-impact work in Uganda, and Resonance: The Quiet Revolution of Compassion, a visual and narrative collection exploring people whose everyday choices challenge assumptions and widen understanding.
My practice moves between documentary photography, portraiture and fine art, using light, color, weather and detail to explore resilience, belonging and human connection.
