Self-taught amateur photographer, I became interested in photography very early on, first with silver photography in the 80's then with digital photography. Afterwards I did a lot of travel photography and it is only in the last ten years that I have devoted myself more assiduously to photography by equipping myself with studio equipment. My influences are ancient painting, the Flemish primitives, Rembrandt, the romantics and the symbolists. The Victorian era fascinates me, the fashion of this period inspires me a lot. My photos are often imbued with nostalgia and melancholy and even sadness.
