Rachel Feinstein is a photographer from Cleveland Ohio and is now based in New York City. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Kent State University. She is inspired by classic cinema, expressive fashion, and color theory. Her work centers around the space that women hold in our society by pulling from the feel of a cinematic still from the past and adding in different elements to create a slight discomfort for the audience. Her goal is to create pieces that force the audience to feel as if they were transported into the woman’s point of view and the discomfort that comes with that.
