Anthony Ong is an Australian born photographer who grew up between Sydney and the Southern Highlands of NSW Australia, and is now based in the hinterland of Byron Bay. 
Anthony trained in photography in 1998 and has worked on and with the land as a farm hand, land regeneration project manager, earth mover and landscape magician. Anthony has a unique eye for beauty in all its forms.
He explores texture, light, form and movement in his work, and loves to work both with and against the elements.
Anthonys work has the essence of both purity and abstraction. His career has covered the fashion and advertising industries, as well as a series of publishing houses, with his work featuring in publications from Penguin books, Random house, and Murdoch books. His clients include National Geographic,Expedia Travel, Vanuatu Tourism, ELLE magazine,Hyundai,Telstra and ANZ Bank. Anthonys connection to the Australian landscape, its people, its history, its stories is evident in his quietly captivating images, which are timeless and gently powerful. This series is a purely creative & personal exploration for Anthony which sees him behind his camera, fulfilling his curiosity, his love of quietly observing & experimenting with light and movement.
