About Artist

Eliott Peacock

Elliot Peacock is a contemporary photographer from the Catskill Mountains in New York where he lives and experiments with the parameters of optics and natural sunlight. He aims to cause the physical world to disappear, replacing identifiable surroundings with images of pure light. Peacock explores how photography can be used to record imagery inaccessible to the naked eye. Since 2021, he has been making photographs of light, created “in-camera” without use of digital alteration. Currently, he is exploring engaging live musical and dance performance in concert with projected and printed imagery from The Light Recordings (anticipated 2025).
