I am retired 16 years and in that time have moved from representational photography into abstract photography. I have also started lecturing, not bad for a 76yr old! I have received various awards but in 2018 opted out of most competitions. I am now entering competitions suited to my style of work. I have had my work published in the book : Minimalism in Photography. For my style of abstract photography, all I carry is one camera and one lens. My technique involves a lot of looking to find the initial subject with which I am able to work. Once I have found this subject, I use this as the basis for my photograph. Then through the technique of multiple exposure gradually build the final image. Minimalism also fits the style of abstract photography
