The last confession

Is a series of photos on places of worship in France and Italy left to abandon. Buildings with impressive architectures often present for decades reign on our earth. The interior remains a true architectural spectacle filled with details, paintings but especially emotions frozen in time.

About Artist

Anthony Sala

Anthony Sala, better known by the pseudonym “le_decay”, has been a passionate explorer photographer since 2016. He frequently travels the roads of France and Europe, driven by the desire to discover and capture the forgotten heritage of humanity. Its objective is to offer the general public striking photographs of an abandoned heritage, where nature gradually regains its rights. The architecture and details left behind by decay, mold and abandonment are particularly attractive. For him, these abandoned places are imbued with a unique beauty and testify to a bygone era that may never be lost.
