Deborah Gray Mitchell worked as a fine art and commercial photographer in Miami, Florida for forty years. Her work included theatre and opera, professional sports fields, portraits for attorneys, business executives and actors. She photographed for advertising and editorial clients, and spent years photographing the art of accomplished artists. Now retired, she spend time in Asia photographing the lifestyle and beauty found there. Her widely collected works have been exhibited in many group and one person shows, and she's been the recipient of many awards for her images. Deborah was the first woman president of ASMP South Florida and chaired an ASMP Chapter Presidents' Meeting. She grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, and attended Memphis State University. She is primarily a self-taught photographer who was fortunate to have wonderful mentors. She now lives in Tavares, Florida in the central part of the state.
