TORTORA + TRAVEZAN is the working name of artist- photographers David Tortora and Jaime Travezan, who collaborate on a regular basis since 2009. Their work and style is variously described as 'anti-minimal', 'visually rich' and 'realistic but categorically non-real'. Starting from 2011, with the project MIRAME, they've embarked on a series of photo investigations, revolving around the themes of sociocultural evolution, diversity and inclusion. Concurrently, with the series Galatea (2013), they've begun their journey into fine art photography with a sequence of explorations into the fields of nude and still life.
