Having a fascination with the works of Ukiyo-e landscape artists; I love how they depicted the weather and the ocean in a less literal, ‘compressed’ or ‘flattened’ perspective. This approach to composition, contrasts the typical perspectives we're used to when looking at waves as a subject matter.
