Luiz Ribeiro
Luiz C. Ribeiro's a Brazilian born photographer New York resident with a keen eye for storytelling, twenty plus years of experience, and often described as a generalist because of his ability to execute a wide range of assignment work. In 2012, after twenty years, Luiz left a successful career with a major New York Newspaper to pursue a independent career and further his photographic knowledge attending workshops and seminars. Recently, he completed four books for Brazilian Publisher Arte Ensaio and the City of Rio de Janeiro. His photos have appeared in nearly every major national and international publications including, Advertising campaigns, The New York Times, New York Daily News, Los Angeles Times, Daily Mail, Rolling Stone, US News & World Report, Time Magazine, Newsweek, National Geographic Travel Guide. Luiz is a full-fledged member of the NPPA - National Press Photographer Association, WHNPA - The White House News Photographers Association, NYPPA - The New York Press Photographers Association, ARFOC – Associação de Reporters Fotograficos – Brazil, FENAJ – Federação Nacional dos Jornalistas – Brazil.
