Situated along the banks of the Indonesia Ciliwung River in 2025, many people still live in cramped settlements where even sunlight struggles to penetrate the dense rows of shacks. Poor hygiene becomes a secondary concern, as surviving amid economic uncertainty remains their foremost priority.
