The Dance of the Calla
This series is a study of the calla lily in natural light in nature. It explores light, shape, and form through quiet, minimal compositions. Each image focuses on restraint and observation, distilling the subject into its essential visual language.
About Artist
Riccardo Interdonato
My work explores atmosphere, light, and quiet moments through photography. I focus on how subjects shift through changes in light, time, and perspective, and how these variations shape the reading of an image. Each image is made with restraint and intention, prioritising clarity, balance, and simplicity, allowing the natural qualities of form, texture, and light to emerge. The work is shaped by long-term observation — how light moves, how surfaces change, and how small details can carry more weight than the subject itself. It is about slowing down and looking more closely at what is often overlooked.
