Moon and Saturn Conjuction
The astronomical conjunction of 25 July 2024 was an exceptional sight. Saturn appeared so close to the Moon that it seemed almost to touch its edge. Unlike a typical conjunction, this unusually close alignment created a striking and memorable celestial spectacle. Captured with 600mm lens.
About Artist
Gordon Koh
Photography is more than a hobby for me—it is a pursuit of moments that inspire awe and tell stories beyond words. I am deeply passionate about capturing the grandeur of epic skies, the serenity of landscapes, and the split-second beauty of birds in flight. With a strong foundation in photographic technique and years of experience refining my craft, I combine technical precision with a keen artistic eye. From mastering exposure and challenging lighting conditions to composing images that evoke emotion and wonder, I strive to create photographs that are both visually striking and meaningful. I am particularly drawn to nature's fleeting moments—the fiery drama of a sunrise, the majesty of storm clouds rolling across the horizon, or the elegance and power of a bird captured at the perfect instant. Patience, attention to detail, and an unwavering pursuit of excellence drive my work, enabling me to transform ordinary scenes into extraordinary images. Through my photography, I seek not only to document the world as it is, but to reveal its beauty, inspire others to look closer, and share the sense of wonder I experience behind the lens.
