Still Becoming
Glacial ice meets its own reflection in perfect symmetry. The line between solid and liquid, real and mirrored, dissolves entirely. Threaded through the ancient ice, dark seams of volcanic ash mark the ancient collision of fire and ice, merging now in perpetual transformation.

Laura Zimmerman
Laura is a Pacific Northwest-based photographer specializing in abstract and minimal imagery. Since retiring from portrait photography in 2020, she has explored form, light, and stillness through techniques including Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) and Multiple Exposure. Her work has been featured in ICM Magazine and shown in galleries both domestically and abroad.
