La Loba

La Loba is a journey toward the primordial feminine archetype. Through body memories, dreams, fairy tales, and intimate performances, it explores intuition, nature, and identity. The resulting photographic narrative invites a reconnection with one’s authentic essence. (The image is part of a series)

About Artist

Ornella Orlandini

Ornella Orlandini is a lens based italian artist living in Berlin since 2012. She holds a BA in Education Sciences with a focus on Anthropology from the University of Turin and an MA in Photography from the European Institute of Design. In 2015, she exhibited at the Museum Europäischer Kulturen in Berlin with the installation RÜBER FRAUEN. Segni di una recente emigrazione italiana femminile a Berlino, created for the exhibition Erfüllbare Träume? Italienerinnen in Berlin organized by Rete Donne e.V. In 2021, she was selected for the annual mentoring program with Simona Ghizzoni, and in 2023–2024 she attended Yogurt’s Curatorial LAB. Her work has been presented in national and international group exhibitions and is included in the private collection of the Enter Art Foundation. Her artistic research focuses on self-development, feminine consciousness, and the relationship between human beings and nature. Deeply rooted in her personal path of self-awareness, her practice combines theoretical inquiry with embodied and experiential exploration. Through intimate performances, self-portraiture, photography, and mixed-media works informed by intuitive and visionary processes, she investigates the connections between identity, memory, the body, and the natural world. Current projects focus on the sacred feminine, explored through the intersection of anthropology, embodied experience, and shamanic knowledge.
