Drowning in flames
Every encounter in life carries a hint of departure—an inner sense of death. Photography, by freezing time, captures this transience; each image becomes a gaze into the eyes of loss. For me, a burning structure powerfully symbolizes this idea.

Odysseas Tsompanoglou
Odysseas Tsompanoglou (born 1998, Greece) is a photographer based in the Netherlands whose work explores loss, melancholy, and collective healing. His series "Paradise" reflects on how tourism and spectacle shape identity and place. Currently pursuing a master’s in Photography & Society at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague, he approaches photography as a collaborative process that challenges authorship and invites public dialogue.
