Architectural Anatomy
By breaking and rebuilding the frame, I recast architecture as an uncanny anatomy: no longer a stable monument, but something bodily, strange, and faintly monstrous.
About Artist
Zechen Huang
Zechen Huang is a visual artist, photographer, and filmmaker whose practice explores architecture as body, fiction, and psychological space. Grounded in architectural design and spatial storytelling, he uses photography to fragment and reconstruct the built environment into uncanny visual anatomies that blur the boundaries between structure and creature, monument and myth. His work reimagines urban space as something living, estranged, and perceptually unstable, inviting viewers to question how the world is framed, perceived, and transformed.
