Having worked on both sides of the camera, Kimerlee has the natural ability of capturing emotion. Delivering imagery that is described as unique, dramatic and evocative. Emphasizing graceful lines, rich textures and a view of the horse not done before. Since 2004 she has been capturing an intimate connection with the wild, leaving the viewer imagining their very breath on their face. Her career has been based in highlighting these remarkable creatures through a minimal approach and raising awareness for the plight they continue to face year after year on our Western public lands. The work reflects passion, purpose and is fused with environmental consciousness. As a dedicated ambassador to The American Wild Horse Campaign, Kimerlee's hope is to inspire others, not only to appreciate the beauty of these creatures, but to take an interest in helping preserve their rightful place in the wild.
