About Artist
Arek Akki
My works explores themes of anonymity, disrupted connections with one’s environment, challenges of self-identification, self-destructive tendencies, the erosion of joy, loneliness, emotional volatility, and states of alienation. I create photographs to archive the emotions generated within these themes, often through the study of the human body, while integrating objects and symbolic elements that play a crucial role in the nude form.
