Rajarshi Banerji is one of the best known wildlife photographers of India and Nikon India’s Brand Creator in Wildlife Photography. Rajarshi is an avid conservationist who has photographed wildlife for over 30 years in most parts of India, USA, Antarctica, South Africa, Brazil, Botswana, Kenya, Tanzania, Norway, Namibia, Sri Lanka, South East Asia, Alaska, the Arctic Circle and Chile. Rajarshi has won innumerable awards in photo contests across the world. He has also been awarded the Grand Prize of 35th Memorial Maria Luisa in 2025 and is the first photographer from Asia ever to win this prestigious award.
Rajarshi has authored a unique coffee table book on Kaziranga National Park that has been published by the Forest Department, Government of Assam and the book has been placed in the Library of Congress by the United States Government.
Rajarshi donates his images for propagation of awareness about wildlife among school children and strives every day to learn something new in wildlife photography.
