Peter Searight FBIPP ARPS AMPA works from his rural studio in Sussex. The countryside around him remains an inspiration and features in many of his calming, atmospheric landscapes, but his portfolio now includes images from around the World, reflecting the beauty of our environment. “I have always been drawn to the Impressionists – their use of light and colour and the abstract nature of much of their work, which presents an image but leaves a lot of detail to the imagination of the viewer.” In 2017, Peter was awarded a Fine Art Fellowship by the British Institute of Professional Photography for an abstract portfolio. In the same year, he also received a Gold Medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and a BIPP Gold award.
