About Artist
David Morris
My teacher was a photojournalist, he photographed everything. I try and do the same. 'Barlfe' is a long term project where I have photographed people in bars for their faces and stories mostly in the late hours in capital cities in the UK and the continent. I've photographed Circuses and Dancers, the Household Cavalry, Fishermen, Boxers, people in the street and lately Worshipers. I also take landscape and seascapes, but the human condition is a more powerful draw. As Andy Warhol once said 'You can't take a bad photograph of the human face'. I think he's right.
