About Artist
Emy Maike
I was born and raised in Manila Philippines. I graduated Elementary School, High School in Manila. I attended PATTS (Aeronautics) Colloge School as a domestic flight attendant in Manila Philippines. My passion is photography, reading books! I worked for over 11 years in a bookstore as a bookseller, "Der Club Bertelsman", unfortunately the big company no longer exists since 2011. Since then it is the biginn of more interest in reading and I collect books. My hobby is archery. I live in Baden Württemberg, Germany (near the Swiss border) and works in Switzerland. My passion for photography has been around for many years and has intensified over time. I am a patient observer with a focus on adventure in work progress. I learned photography by doing (self-taught), reading photo books and simply practicing. I photograph everything from landscapes, nature, wildlife, architecture to people on the street, but lately I've been fascinated by experimental photography at home. This is work in progress. Exhibitions 2019 "Abstract Art" at the company Lützelschwab AG, Hauptstrasse 1, 4313 Möhlin, Switzerland. 2021 "Colour of thoughts" Municipality Möhlin Hauptstrasse 36 4313 Möhlin. 2021 Trieste, Italy "Street Photography" Awards Monovisions Photo Award 2021 Honorable Mention in Landscapes, Fine Art and Landscapes. Monovisions Photo Award 2022 Honorable Mention in Fine Art Architecture, Landscapes. This month February 2023, two photos "Street Photoraphy" were published in Docu Magazine, Finland. reFocus Awards: Professional May 2023 Honorable Mention in both Categories "Street and Events" My ICM photos "Winter Dreams" was published last year 2022 in IG account Spectaculum Magazine As well as my black and white photos about Traveling Title "Sta(y-ac)tion" And my photo dokumentation about garbage, "Floating Garbage" in IG account The Pictorial List.
