I am Nina. In 2014, I moved from Stuttgart to Beijing with my husband and our two children. They are growing up in this part of the world which is, in many ways, so different from the one where we were raised. Their normal life will never completely be so for me, and therefore I felt the necessity to capture moments of our daily routines, illustrating their youth in a world they will never blend into. Through my pictures, I wanted to visualize the story of our home away from home, as a testimony of this chapter in our lives. In doing so, I discovered my passion for documentary family photography and I sharpened my skills through professional courses and workshops. I participated to international photographic contests and was awarded several international awards.
