About Artist
Harris Lynch
Name: Luisa Lynch Back in 1983, thanks to the Polaroid that my uncle gave me, my career in the world of photography began. In the 1990s, I participated in the 2nd Tenerife Fotonoviembre International Photography Biennial, with the collective work Little Stories. And in the same period, I began my career as a teacher of the photography workshop organized by the Hon. City Hall of La Orotava, which is currently being taught. He collaborated with various exhibitions on the islands, and in Madrid he participated in the collective work Canarios en Madrid. As a member of the Artefacto group, I exhibited in the Añepa room, in La Orotava, and collaborated with the Albarabi group in the Colmena space. He showed my photographic work in collaboration with the music of the award-winning Tenerife composer Antonio Hernández. Likewise, it participates in the project «Trip to dream level (Dance-Video-Theater)», in the El Tanque Cultural Space, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Within the same project, my works were presented in cities such as Puerto de la Cruz, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Lima (Peru), Caracas (Venezuela), Madrid, Adeje and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. In the same way, he took part in other collective exhibitions during these last twenty-five years. During my career as a photographer, she received several awards, mentions and nominations —mostly in the wildlife or nature category— in national and international photography contests, including: The National Wildlife Federation Photo Contest, the Monochrome Photography Awards, the Fine Art Photography Awards, the Monovisions Black and White Photography Awards, the International Photography Awards (IPA), the Alicante International Photography Contest, the Aragonese Nature contest or the Tokyo and Moscow international photography awards.
