About Artist
Yvon Jolivet
Yvon Jolivet is a self-taught artist photographer currently based in Rimouski, province of Quebec (Canada) and a scientist with a Master's degree in science. First, he worked for several years with consulting companies and within research chairs as scientific and technical advisor in applied climatology and microclimatology. Now and for several years, he devotes himself to photography. His photographic approach highlights the natural environment and symbolism that emerges from it and brings meaning to the human psyche. Since 2016, he has received numerous international awards, including a Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards in Fine Arts and Abstract. His photographs have been exhibited in several art exhibitions in various countries. Yvon Jolivet is a professionnal member of RAAV (Regroupement des artistes en arts visuels du Québec) and CARFAC (Canadian Artists Representation) - Official Judge New York Photography Awards 2022-2023.
