For ostracised populations throughout history, stereotyping has proven damaging, sometimes deadly. In MIS[S]UNDERSTOOD I uprooted bias against Irish Traveller girls and women. They are a marginalized culture exploited socially and politically that spoke to my curiosity and my heart.
