About Artist
Shunya Tomita
Shunya Tomita was born in Japan and is currently based in Tokyo. After college, he attended a Contemporary Art photography course at photo school, and it is where his photographic journey began. Now, He is a commercial photographer and his projects focus on a world between the real and the 3DCG. In recent year, Generative AI and 3DCG technology is developing rapidly. He pursues expressions that can only be achieved through photography, which cannot be achieved by Generative AI and 3DCG. In 2023, He has won NY ADC AWARDS MERIT HONOR and EUROPEAN PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS HONORABLE MENTION.
