Francis Pérez, born in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, a professional underwater photographer, conservationist and economics degree from La Laguna University, Canary Islands, specialized in regional development economy. He began diving in 1994 and underwater photography in 2001. Ocean lover and enthusiastic diver, he focuses the underwater world with a unique style. His photographs show his own point of view in places such us Indonesia, Malaysia, Egypt, South Africa, Mozambique, Micronesia, the Philippines, Galapagos, Papua (Indonesia), Mexico, Chile, Mauritius and especially the Canary Islands, his favorite place to dive. He started diving in 1994 and from 2001 on underwater photography with an analog reflex camera. Self-taught in its beginnings and in recent years as a student at the Municipal School of Photography of the Realejos de Tenerife. Regular contributor to National Geographic Spain on biodiversity issues in the marine environment of the Canary Islands.
