Maddie Casagranda is a current MFA candidate in the Studio Art Photography & Digital Media program and a Teaching Fellow at the University of Houston with an expected graduation of May 2025. She is an interdisciplinary artist who works primarily with alternative photographic processes and fibers, and draws meaning from the history and concepts surrounding these mediums. Much of her current work explores representations of generational care and motherhood. Her work has been exhibited across the country and internationally, including at The Blaffer Art Museum, Elgin St. Studios, PH21 Gallery, PRPG.mx, The Springville Museum of Art, The Southeast Center for Photography, and The Praxis Gallery.
