The one for the mountain is a passion that I have always cultivated. I was still a kid when, determined and tenacious, I ventured out to discover new places. As an adult I was captivated by the fascination of peaks. My progress is slow and cadenced, but without stopping: the effort is always rewarded by the emotion I feel in front of the spectacle of an uncontaminated sunrise or a quiet, silent sunset.
I rediscover myself as a child when I spend the night in a tent, in total solitude, and every time it's like living an adventure.
The camera is always with me and looking at the results of my shots allows me to relive magical moments that otherwise, perhaps, would be forgotten.
My style as a photographer focuses on landscape, peaks, lakes, streams, animals. However, the fundamental ingredient always remains the LIGHT that transfigures what surrounds me and captures my attention. This is how my going to the mountains becomes a dimension of the soul: I observe, I reflect, I concentrate and no shot is casual or superficial. Mine is a passion that requires commitment and involves some sacrifices but I am always repaid by profound suggestions and strong, beautiful emotions.
