In 2004, I sold my worldly possession (except my books which I stored at my parent's house in my childhood room) and flew from America to China on the wings of adventure. I taught English and planned to stay a year but met a special girl and plans derailed--as they often do when a boy meets that special girl. In 2008, around the time of the Beijing Olympics, I contemplated how serious I was with relationships of both person and place. I committed to both—there were fireworks in Beijing skies and fireworks in a girl's eyes. Both said , “yes”. I've been in China ever since, and developed a love for photography which helps me frame the myriad wonders of the world around me so I can take my time in contemplating on a slice of life and ponder what it all means anyhow.
