About Artist
Shizuka Minami
Shizuka Minami was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1979. She studied aerodynamics and holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Tokai University. Thereafter, she completed a 1-year program of Documentary Photography and Photojournalism at the International Center of Photography in 2004 - 2005. She, who is based in Tokyo, is passionate about festivals, carnivals and Sports events. She has covered professional sports events such as LPGA, MLB and Summer Olympics in Tokyo among others.
