BARBARA OETTINGER (Santiago, 1981) has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Chile and a Master of Arts from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She has participated in various exhibitions and screenings in cultural centres, galleries, and museums in Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, the United States, India, Indonesia, Ukraine, Slovenia, Spain, France, Portugal, Korea, and Taiwan. She is currently a graduate of the Master of Fine Arts in Integrated Practices from Pratt Institute, New York, United States, which was funded by Becas Chile / CONICYT in 2018. Recently, she has been awarded a scholarship grant from the Chilean government (ANID) to pursue a PhD in Creative and Critical Practice, at the University of Sussex, in Brighton UK.
