Early morning in Karnak

It’s 7 am at the great court of the temple of Amun-Re in Karnak. A guard slowly walks to the entrance. The trunk of the palm rises up, like the imprint of a nature that is always awake against a nature frozen in time. Creating an aesthetical sense of calm before all the tourists start to arrive.
