Kim Newman is a fine art equine and nature photographer currently residing in northern Virginia. With a passion for capturing connections in and with her subjects, her photography has been described as evocative of their spirit and essence, “like a window into a soul.” In her recent collections, she shares her love of horses in beautiful places including Andalusia, Spain; Iceland; the Camargue in France; Sable Island, Nova Scotia; and the American West where she photographs wild mustangs. Kim is primarily self-taught along with learning from top photographers in their workshops in the field. In combining her lifelong passions of horses, nature and photography, Kim creates unique and artistic images of connection.
