Blonde Wonder
At a Dayton Oktoberfest, I saw this scene complete and it was a picture waiting to be captured. The light and shadow and position of the blonde haired boy, was a wonderful combination.

About Artist
Mark Toro
Mark Toro is a professional photographer and kitchen designer, based in Columbus, Ohio. He began making photographs at age sixteen, photographing classic rock acts in concert like Queen, The Who and Genesis. After winning a few early photography awards, he decided on photography as a career. A graduate of Ohio Institute of Photography, he worked twelve years as a corporate photographer, traveling five states for corporate communications, sometimes on a lear jet. Side projects along the way, allowed him to grow as an artist. Later, he photographed concerts professionally for publications, covering top rock acts of the day like, U2, Peter Gabriel, Natalie Merchant and The Rolling Stones. Losing his corporate position to company restructuring, he worked freelance for a few years until he realized he needed to make photographs solely for himself, continuing his professional, lifetime body of work. His favorite shooting has always been black and white street photography, fashion portraits, and more recently, travel and architectural.
