About Artist

Chris Palm

Chris works with photons that he bends captures and converts into electrons. With the application of advanced calculus applied in high energy fields he generates stereogram photos of naturally occurring organic fractal patterns. Photons from his current project were captured in the JocoToco Nature Reserves in Ecuador and explore the consciousness of complex primary forest systems. It is a unique place based on it equatorial location and the exponential biodiversity presenting there. Only 1% of this forest system still remains. Chris holds an MBA in International Business from NTU in Singapore where he learned about the value game humans place on fiat money while living among talking heads of commerce and trade. He has worked in data analytics and with intelligent networks for many top global consumer goods. His current project, TreeTalk 2.0 forest conversations, is an exploration of teleportation of consciousness with the forest. Maybe if we have more of this art in this world we will all be able to breath just a bit easier. He is the volunteer director of digital at SIY gallery in San Fransisco exploring digital channels and sharing his experiences with a circle of artists in the Bay Area. Proceeds from the tree talk exhibition go to EQUARTY program with QueerLifeCenter in San Fransisco. This program provides mental health and artist development services for emerging queer artists.
