About Artist
Stephanie Chotia
100% self-taught in photography, I am above all a diligent self-portraitist. I work on intimate themes, linked to my past experiences, to my deep emotions. My photo studio? I don't have one and only work in abandoned places. I am inspired by the present moment and I compose with it. Thus, I can tell a unique story for each photograph proposed and attach a creative context that only exists at the moment it was captured. Since 2017, I have been exhibiting my work (Cities of Menton and Nice, artists' studios, art galleries, photographic events in France and elsewhere in Europe), sometimes published and rewarded. Born in France under the name of Stéphanie Chotia, I publish artistic work under the pseudonym of MoKo.
