For nearly a decade Kim Richardson photographed for New York auction houses Sotheby’s and Phillips de Pury & Co.
Kim studied fine art and photography at Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, and Parsons School of Design in Paris. She worked in collaborative projects that exhibited at Centre Pompidou in Paris and Alleged Gallery in New York City and recently at the New Mexico Museum of Art and the Ballinglen Museum of Art in Ireland. Kim is a photographic artist focusing on the dream like nature of being. Drawing interest in the history of landscapes, plants, antiquity, geological wonders, the quotidian of being an Earthling for this slice of time. She is presently living in Santa Fe, NM with her husband, painter and educator, Willy Richardson and their lovely, dynamic daughter Audrey Richardson. In addition to her photography she also has a background in fine art printing for artists who she prints with master printer, Steve Zeifman, with Rush Creek Editions.
