Like nature, my body of photographic artwork and poetic writings is a collective of life and stories—living, thriving, and breathing together. Nature draws me outside—away from the computer, office, TV, and my dwellings. At the same time, nature invites me inside to recharge my well-being, delve into my emotions, contemplate my thoughts, and cultivate my creativity. When I am outdoors with a camera, I’m called to surroundings that touch my heart. I’m moved to compose an image that captures my felt experience. Outdoor nature inspires me to observe peace and comfort. Her openness and serenity move me. Alongside my images, I am inspired to create poems. I feel nature "whisper" her story through the image and our linked experience. Whispers are my creative conversations with nature. Listening with an open and calm heart, allows her whispers to pass through me. Invite nature inside.
