Volcanic First Gases
Captured fully in-camera, this work transforms eruption into abstraction. Red ignites as vital energy, black absorbs, orange and violet expand as radiant heat, while white blazes as incandescence—a vision of creation and destruction drawn in light.
About Artist
Héctor Morón
I am Héctor Morón Solís, a Spanish fine art photographer working with abstract and impressionist-expressionist landscapes. My practice is rooted in Intentional Camera Movement (ICM), a way of painting with the camera: long exposures that turn reality into dreamlike, fluid visions. Inspired by painting, cinema, and my background in Geography, I seek to blur the line between documentation and imagination. My photographs are not simply landscapes to be seen, but emotional spaces to be experienced.
