Unfolding Sculpture

Layered leaves rise and recede through shadow, their contours defined by a thin line of light. The photograph abstracts natural form into a study of structure and balance, where growth is suggested through movement and repetition.

About Artist

Lynda Browne-Bristov

Lynda Browne-Bristov is a visual artist and photographer drawn to the quiet details of the natural world. Her work explores the space between observation and abstraction, using light, texture, and form to reveal the sculptural beauty in everyday subjects. Photography is, for her, a contemplative practice — a way to slow down and engage more deeply with the world around her creating images that invite viewers to look more closely. Lynda’s work has been published in multiple editions of Visual Arts Magazine Barbados, exhibited at the Gallery of Caribbean Art, Queen’s Park Gallery, and an exhibition contributor in the KAC Gallery of Fellow Artists. Most recently, she has presented new work that will be exhibited at the London Biennale 2025. She continues to explore the emotional and expressive potential of minimalism, monochrome, and natural forms — always searching for moments of quiet resonance.
