Turtle Dove
This Turtle Dove in Romania appeared while I was photographing other birds at a reflecting pond. I was stunned when I saw the lovely muted colors of its feathers against the lush green forest background.

Linda is an amateur nature photographer who has won Audubon’s Plants for Birds category in 2023 and in 2024 in addition to having two additional photographs being included in Audubon’s Top 100 photographs in 2023 and in 2025. She has been awarded Honorable Mention by the Minimalist Photography Awards in 2023, 2024 and 2025. In addition, Linda’s photos are often included in Birds and Blooms Magazine. Linda has a keen interest in abstract architecture photography. Whatever takes Linda outdoors is what motivates and energizes her.
